A Message from Our Team
Dowagiac Union High School Environmental Club is in it's third year of operation as well as it's third year participating with Tree-Plenish. We are excited to offer saplings once again this year. PLEASE NOTE: Saplings will be available for pickup on Friday, April 19th from 4-7 ONLY. Saplings not picked up at this time will be donated and planted elsewhere. Thank you for helping our mission to better our community!

Sapling Information
Saplings will come as bareroot saplings. This means they are dormant until they are planted and typically bloom 4-6 weeks after being planted. Here is an example of what bareroot saplings look like.

Amelia Bakeman
Amelia is a 17 year old Junior who lots to read and is a high honors student. She is involved in Competitive dance, Dowagiac Varsity Sideline Cheerleading, NHS, Rotary Interact, Student Senate, and Chieftain Heart.
Colin Parker
Colin is a junior at Dowagiac Union High School. He plays basketball and this is his first year as a leader for the Environmental Club.
Emma Stanger
Emma is a junior at Dowagiac Union High School. She loves to compete in dance and cheer and is on the sideline and competitive cheer team and the MMC Dance Team. This is her first year as one of the leaders of the DUHS Environmental Club.
Olivia Stockwell
Olivia is a sophomore at Dowagiac Union High School. She enjoys dance, golf, tennis, and being with her family.
Mrs. Hackett
Mrs. Hackett is the sponsor of DUHS Environmental Club. She has been teaching in Dowagiac for 18 years and enjoys reading, crafting, and camping with her husband and daugther.
