A Message from Our Team

Atascadero High School's Earth Club will be hosting a community wide tree planting event with the goal of offsetting our school's carbon and energy consumption. Our club's goal is to plant 150 trees throughout San Luis Obispo County, during our event on April 20th. Residents can help us reach our goal by ordering a sapling for $10 or by signing up as volunteers to plant the saplings in residents' yards on the day of the event. The sapling options are: Santina Cherry, Royal Blenheim Apricot, and Picual Olive. Our club looks forward to making our community more sustainable.

Sapling Information

Saplings will come as bareroot saplings. This means they are dormant until they are planted and typically bloom 4-6 weeks after being planted. Here is an example of what bareroot saplings look like.

For more information about the saplings and for resources about how to plant and care for them, visit the Tree-Plenish Resource page.
