A Message from Our Team

The Green Club at Rochester High School is hosting a tree selling/planting event with the help of the non-profit organization Tree-Plenish. Our goal is to get trees planted in our community to offset our school paper and energy usage. We have a goal of getting 250 saplings planted this year and need your help to accomplish this! You can purchase saplings for $5 each and will pick them up on May 4th, 2024 at RHS in the main loop outside of the main office off Walton Road. There are 3 tree species options available for purchase - Colorado Blue Spruce, Eastern Redbud, and Sugar Maple. You can find more information about each tree right here on the event page. Saplings will come as bare root saplings between 1-3 feet tall. This means they are dormant until they are planted and typically bloom 4-6 weeks after being planted. Basic planting instructions will be sent to the email address provided when the trees are ordered. A reminder and additional information will also be sent to this email address. Thank you for your participation and support!

Sapling Information

Saplings will come as bareroot saplings. This means they are dormant until they are planted and typically bloom 4-6 weeks after being planted. Here is an example of what bareroot saplings look like.

For more information about the saplings and for resources about how to plant and care for them, visit the Tree-Plenish Resource page.
