Sapling Information

Saplings will come as bareroot saplings. This means they are dormant until they are planted and typically bloom 4-6 weeks after being planted. Here is an example of what bareroot saplings look like.

For more information about the saplings and for resources about how to plant and care for them, visit the Tree-Plenish Resource page.

Mackenzie Weiler

My name is Mackenzie Weiler and I am a senior at Oakdale High School. I’m so excited to go through with this tree-planting project. I’ve been apart of the Environmental Club since sophomore year. I’ve been apart of the Trex Soft Plastic Challenge and collecting classroom recycling.

Pragna Yalamanchili

My name is Pragna Yalamanchili and I am a senior at Oakdale High School. I am extremely passionate about helping save our planet and have been a part of environmental clubs since elementary school. Last spring, I interned with Ms.Nave, the environmental club advisor at Oakdale. I coordinated all student volunteers for Oakdale's various green school initiatives during my internship. This includes the Trex soft plastic challenge, collecting classroom recycling to ensure it gets to the recycling dumpster, and composting.
